Information and Education
Senior Speaker Series
SSA works to ensure that each Senior Speaker Series program has local experts on the topic and provides the most up-to-date, accurate information. Each program is created collaboratively in partnership with City agencies and non-profits who are also invited to set up tables to share their information. Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, our in-person Speaker Series is on hold. We are holding virtual events starting in the Fall with Senior Law Day and Senior Academy.
SSA invites several local non-profits to co-sponsor these programs including: ACT for Alexandria; AHA!; Alexandria Library; Alexandria Department of Recreation, Parks, and Cultural Activities; Inova Alexandria Hospital; and Volunteer Alexandria.
