May 10th Robust Walkathon

The Spring Robust Walkathon took place on May 10th at Ben Brenman park.

Group leaders walked participants to different exercise stations throughout the park. At each station, attendees learned how to weave low-intensity exercises into a walk, and how to use environmental objects as props. Participants also learned new techniques to increase their balance, strength, agility, flexibility, and endurance.

Special guests will included representatives from the Alexandria Fire and Sheriff’s Departments.
