Hear local experts from the Alexandria Bar Association, local estate and financial planners and geriatric care managers discuss the importance of planning for the future including knowing what legal instruments and documents everyone should have in place and what can happen if you are not prepared. Also, learn how you can take an active role in later-in-life decisions including if you want to stay in your home, or how to plan for different living situations, etc. This year’s keynote speaker is Robert Blancato, National Coordinator of the Elder Justice Coalition. The AARP “Shred Truck” will be onsite from 8 – 11 am so bring any materials for shredding.
Light Breakfast will be served, and this event is FREE and open to the public!
