Fall 2017 Robust Walkathon on Sept. 26th

The Successful Aging Committee’s*  fall Robust Walkathon took place on September 26th from 10:00 am – noon at Ben Brenman Park. Participants were guided through a set of exercises that made use of environmental objects, and are ideal for improving  balance, strength, agility, flexibility, and endurance.

The Robust Walkathon’s proceeds will benefit senior programs in Alexandria, including the annual Dance for All Ages, Senior Health & Fitness Fair, and the Senior Winter Holiday Celebration. Thank you to all who attended!
