The 2105 White House Conference on Aging is taking place on Monday, July 13 starting at 10:00 am. AARP, At Home in Alexandria, the City’s Commission on Aging and Senior Services of Alexandria are cosponsoring a “Watch Party” to view the day-long activities of this once in a decade event! It is happening at City Hall, 301 King Street, Sister Cities Room on the ground floor starting at 9 am until about 4 pm. It will be an interactive event with light refreshments so feel free to drop in, listen and participate as your schedule permits. The annual conference is an opportunity to listen, learn and share with older adults, families, caregivers, advocates and experts in the aging field.
