Senior Services honored its “SSA Stars” at the annual volunteer appreciation luncheon held at Durant Arts Center. Volunteers were treated to a luncheon courtesy of Jeffery’s Catering and desserts from Giant Food on Duke Street.
Volunteers of the Year for each program include: Meals on Wheels – Bobbie and Patrick O’Brien; Friendly Visitor – Alexandra Johnson; Groceries to Go – Carolyn Cain; and Education and Outreach – Steve Cordle. A “Superstar” award was also presented to Dolores Viehman, SSA’s Volunteer Coordinator.
