Senior Living in Alexandria’s “Community Resources for Older Adults” Workshop –
Thursday, March17 at 10 am via Zoom

This month’s “Senior Living in Alexandria” workshop will focus on “Community Resources for Older Adults” to stay in their homes and live independently. Participants will also hear about the city’s Commission on Aging’s “Age Friendly” plan.” It is being updated to reflect the current needs of older adults, and they are looking for community input. SSA staff will discuss its programs and services including Meals on Wheels, Groceries-to-Go, and the Friendly Visitor Programs.
