Join Dr. Victoria Tucker, Nurse and Public Historian, for a powerful presentation on the history of African American nursing students in Albemarle County, Virginia. While pursuing a Ph.D. in Nursing at the University of Virginia, Dr. Tucker uncovered the inspiring story of African American nurses who were barred from attending UVA.
