Strategies for Addressing Solo Aging, Social Isolation and Mental Health for Seniors, Wednesday, February 19, 1:00 pm – Beatley Library, 5005 Duke Street

Senior Services of Alexandria and At Home in Alexandria (AHA) are bringing together experts to explore strategies for supporting older adults as they navigate solo aging, combatting social isolation and learn how to prioritize one’s mental health as we age. Speakers include Steve Gurney with the Positive Aging Community, and Rhonda Williams, Director of the city’s Older Adult Mental Health Department.
