SSA decided to move its Fall Senior Academy to virtual with the sessions available via Zoom. We look forward to providing this interesting 4-week class to residents 60 and older who want to learn more about how their city operates and all the programs and services available to older adults who resident in the City of Alexandria.
The Virtual program is beginning Wednesday, September 22nd – 10 -11:30 am (the other dates are September 29th, October 6th and October 13th). This four-week course will feature an overview from city officials and departments on how the city operates including a welcome by Mayor Wilson, City Manager Mark Jinks, first responders, Police, Fire and Sheriff’s Offices, Division of Aging and Adult Services, Workforce Development and more!
