Events
SSA holds monthly events on a variety of topics of interest to older adults. Here is the upcoming 2025-2026 schedule (click for more details in the PDF version):
Join us for Senior Bingo, a lively and welcoming gathering for older adults that combines fun, friendship, and useful information about community resources. Enjoy classic bingo games with prizes while connecting with neighbors in a relaxed, social setting.
Each session features a brief presentation from a local service provider who shares information about programs and resources available to older adults in Alexandria such as transportation, health and wellness services, nutrition support, social activities, and more. It’s a great way to stay informed, ask questions, and discover new supports while having fun.
Schedule: Every other Monday at 10:15 a.m.
