AniMeals on Wheels
AniMeals on Wheels is a heartwarming partnership between Senior Services of Alexandria (SSA) and the Animal Welfare League of Alexandria, ensuring that seniors never have to choose between caring for themselves and caring for their beloved pets.
Through this program, eligible seniors receive free monthly deliveries of pet food and supplies right to their homes. Deliveries take place on the second Thursday of each month, providing either 10 cans of wet food or 10 pounds of dry food per household.
By helping seniors feed and care for their pets, AniMeals on Wheels supports both companionship and peace of mind, allowing older adults to maintain the loving bond that brings comfort and joy to daily life.
