Alexandria News published an article on September 6th about SSA’s inclusion in a nationwide USDA pilot program. This pilot program will allow home grocery delivery to home-bound, elderly SNAP clients. Because nearly 20% of SNAP recipients are either elderly or disabled, this pilot program will be instrumental in helping SSA reach a wider range of individuals who qualify for its Groceries to Go program.
