A Vehicle Donation Program that Supports Non-Profits
Alexandria, VA – Senior Services of Alexandria (SSA), through Meals on Wheels America, is partnering with CARS (Charitable Adult Rides & Services), a nonprofit organization based in San Diego, California that manages vehicle donation programs for thousands of other nonprofits in North America. CARS processes over 100,000 vehicles a year and has returned over $170 million to their nonprofit partners.
“SSA is pleased to be partnering with CARS and their vehicle donation program, said Mary Lee Anderson, Executive Director of Senior Services of Alexandria. It is an easy way to support Senior Services and its programs by donating a used car to one non-profit while supporting another.”
The proceeds from any used vehicle will support SSA’s Senior Nutrition programs and its increasing needs as a result of the COVID-19 Pandemic. To find out more about the CARS program click here.
