Historic Alexandria will officially launch its America250 commemoration with a public kick-off event on Monday, January 26, 2026, at 6:30 p.m. at the The Lyceum. The evening will feature guest speakers exploring the significance of America’s 250th anniversary and Virginia’s role in telling a fuller, more inclusive American story. It is a free event.
