This Inside the Vaults’ video short looks at the work of The First Federal Congress Project, an effort by scholars at The George Washington University to collect every scrap of paper associated with the First Congress of the United States. SSA’s local tours are back! Just in time for Halloween, join us for this special program created just for SSA about some of the more diabolical concoctions created at the Stabler-Leadbeater Apothecary. Many were plant-based and museum staff will talk about how plants were used to help – or sometimes hurt! You might recognize some from famous murder-mysteries, others might surprise you.
