Senior Olympics – September 9 -24, Various Locations

The 2023 Northern Virginia Senior Olympics (NVSO) will be the largest in its over 40-year history! A wide variety of events will be held at dozens of locations across Northern Virginia over 16 days. There were 831 participants in last year’s NVSO.

The Society for the Prevention of Blindness is offering a touch history accessible docent-led tour that brings building details to life for visitors through their sense of touch. The free tour offers opportunities to touch objects that describe the architecture of the historic Thomas Jefferson Building. It brings alive verbally what many think of as the most beautiful building in DC. Space is limited.
