Senior Tour: Black History Museum

Join Senior Services of Alexandria on Friday, November 9th for a free tour of the Alexandria Black History Museum. Currently, the Museum is showcasing “Our Alexandria,” an exhibition of African American dollhouses. These beautiful miniature buildings with furnished rooms capture many of the forgotten businesses and people who were important to Alexandria’s vitality and development in the last century.

Additionally, Artist Sherry Sanabria’s African American historic site paintings are on display in the Museum’s Robert Robinson Gallery.

Free transportation is provided from Beatley Library at 5005 Duke St.

The event runs 10am to 1pm.
