Thank you to all who joined us on September 20 for the Robust Walkathon sponsored by the Successful Aging Committee. The weather was perfect and participants enjoyed low-intensity exercise while walking the beautiful paths at Ben Brenman Park. PK Silver also gave a special parkour and falls prevention tutorial. Members of SSA’s staff, Alexandria’s Recreation Department, St. Martin de Porres, Charles Houston Rec Center, and the Sheriff’s Department came together to make this event possible.
