Marymount University’s Department of Health and Human Performance is conducting a study to determine the effects of 8 weeks of a PK Silver Intervention on risk of falling, resting cardiovascular function, and fitness in older adults. The PK Silver Intervention consists of adaptive parkour using body-weight exercises incorporated into fun games and obstacle courses.

30 volunteers are needed to participate in this free 8-session exercise course, with an additional 3 sessions for data collection. To participate, individuals must be 60-80 years old, have basal blood pressure lower than 160/100, be non-smokers, and may not already engage in regular exercise (more than 120 minutes per week).

If interested in participating or if you have any questions, please emial Dr. Alexi Wong at awong@marymount.edu.
