Tours and Food Trends

Beatley Central Library and Senior Services of Alexandria are offering two new co-sponsored senior programs: Old Town Senior Tours, and Food Trends for Seniors.

Old Town Senior Tours

Interested in learning more about your city’s history? Join us as we tour Old Town and visit some of its most valuable landmarks. Alexandria has a rich history, and this is a great chance to see it for yourself! Each month, beginning in September, we will visit a different site. Tour sites and dates TBA.

Food Trends

Healthy eating trends are constantly changing. Ever wonder which ones are right for you? Join Madison Reeder, a Registered Dietitian from InovaCares for SeniorsTM PACE Program, as she explains which trends are best to incorporate in our diets and which are best to avoid. Each session will include a cooking demonstration and food samples. Held the 4th Tuesday of every month, these events are free. However, participants must register ahead of time. To attend our August 28th session,  RSVP below or call 703.836.4414 x 110.
