SSA attended a City Council meeting on March 8th to receive a grant from the United Way of the National Capital Region. Also, Councilwoman Del Pepper read a proclamation stating March 2016 as “March for Meals” to raise awareness around senior isolation and hunger. Mayor Silberberg and Council Members will participate in March for Meals by delivering meals to homebound Alexandria seniors. We thank them for their support!
