The June edition of The Zebra newspaper features SSA in two article both on Page 41. The first is about the June Speaker Series on Livable Communities taking place on June 21 at Beatley Central Library, 5005 Duke Street from 10 am to 12 noon. Members of the Commission on Aging and AARP will talk about the latest progress in making Alexandria a livable community for seniors. The second article is about SSA’s Groceries to Go program citing its “Best Practices” Award from the Commonwealth Council on Aging.
