Fall 2017 Robust Walkathon on Sept. 26th

Want to learn how to incorporate low-intensity, low-impact exercises into your walking routine? Join the Successful Aging Committee* for this fall’s Robust Walkathon on September 26th from 10:00 am – noon at Ben Brenman Park. Participants will be guided through a set of exercises that make use of environmental objects, and are ideal for improving your balance, strength, agility, flexibility, and endurance.

The Robust Walkathon’s proceeds will benefit senior programs in Alexandria, including the annual Dance for All Ages, Senior Health & Fitness Fair, and the Senior Winter Holiday Celebration. There is a suggested $10 donation to register, and participants are encouraged to raise $25 in pledge donations as well. We look forward to seeing you there!
