April 26th Speaker Series- Identity Theft & Scams

Our April Speaker Series- “Protecting Against Identity Theft and Fraudulent Schemes”- will take place on the 26th at Alfred Street Baptist Church (301 S. Alfred St) from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm. Seniors can be easy targets for people who want to take their money or identity. Come hear experts discuss common scams and how to avoid them. Speakers will include representatives from AARP, the United States Federal Trade Commission (FTC), the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), and the City of Alexandria Sheriff’s Department.

Light refreshments will be provided.  Parking is available on the street and in the parking a lot across the street from the church.  To access it you go down Henry Street South toward the Beltway and make a left onto Route 1 North.  The parking lot entry is immediately on the left.
